The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC)  has demanded an immediate reversal of the recent increase in petrol pump prices.

Amid the lingering fuel scarcity in the country, the NNPCL earlier today increased the pump price of petrol from ₦568 to ₦855, ₦897 per litre (depending on the location).

NLC President, Joe Ajaero, has since condemned the move and accused the Federal Government of betraying labour movement.

In a post shared on its X handle, the NLC called for the reversal of the recent increase.
