Nigerian media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu recently delighted fans by sharing that he had re-proposed to his wife during a romantic trip to Rome and the Vatican City in celebration of their 10th wedding anniversary.
Ebuka revealed that the surprise proposal caught his wife completely off guard, as she had no clue he planned to renew his vows in such a grand way.
The TV host chose one of the most scenic destinations in the world to recreate the magic of their original engagement, making the anniversary celebration particularly memorable.
In his usual playful style, Ebuka later took to social media to humorously “call out” his wife for not returning the extravagant gesture. Posting pictures of himself enjoying a Schweppes drink, he jokingly complained that she hadn’t given him a new ring in celebration.
“This woman didn’t give me a new ring on my anniversary. But at least I have my Schweppes Chapman,” he wrote, prompting laughter and amusement from fans.
The post quickly went viral, with many praising the couple’s enduring love, sense of humor, and the effort they put into keeping their relationship lively even after ten years of marriage.
