Social media influencer Gehgeh has sparked backlash after urging men to embrace polygamy as a lifestyle, using Senator Ned Nwoko as an example.
In a viral video, he said having multiple wives gives men “options” and emotional protection, adding that “nobody can hurt you if you have options.”
Gehgeh also hinted that Nwoko’s wife, Regina Daniels, might be going through emotional struggles, saying, “Regina dey one place now dey cry.”
According to him, polygamy protects a man’s heart, because “you have plenty things, and if one no dey work, you discard am.”
His remarks have drawn mixed reactions while some said he was being “insensitive and chasing clout,” others defended him, arguing that polygamy reflects African traditions.
