Ahead of the North London derby on Sunday Arsenal legend Ian Wright has said the Gunners are ‘already 1-0 down’ against Tottenham due to Harry Kane’s superb record in the fixture.

Arsenal, currently leading the chart in the EPL table, will move eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City if they beat Tottenham on Sunday.

Manchester City suffered a defeat against Manchester United in the Manchester derby played on Saturday and this has dented their title hopes.

Harry Kane boasts a brilliant record against Arsenal, scoring 14 goals in 18 games against the Gunners.

“I’m nervous. For me, this is a game Arsenal needs to win,” Wright told Ringer FC podcast,

“We’re already going into the game 1-0 down because Harry Kane always scores against us…

“But overall, it’s a game I do believe we are going to win.”
