Tottenham Hotspur striker, Richarlison, has explained why he shoved Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale, immediately after both teams’ Premier League tie on Sunday.

Tottenham defeated Arsenal 2-0 following an own-goal from Hugo Lloris and a goal from Martin Odegaard.

Moments following the final whistle, Ramsdale was kicked by a Spurs fan after he had stuck out his tongue, kissed the Arsenal badge on his shirt and celebrated the Gunners’ victory in front of the home fans behind the goal.

Richarlison was furious with Ramsdale provoking the Tottenham fans in the closing moments of the match.

“What I really didn’t like was their goalkeeper going to celebrate in front of our fans,” Richarlison told ESPN Brasil.

“It is kind of disrespectful to our fans, he has their fans, he has to go celebrate with their fans, not be cute with our fans.”
