Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has revealed why she turns down invitations to some events, saying it is often because she knows not everyone involved genuinely likes her.
In a post shared on Instagram, the actress explained that not all invitations are extended with good intentions. According to her, some are designed to cause harm, create problems, or even spiritually attack unsuspecting guests.
She stressed the need for prayer and spiritual discernment, noting that only God can expose people’s true motives.
Okorie added that her decision to stay away from certain gatherings is intentional. While some people may not like her, she said they still seek her presence because she adds energy and excitement to events. However, she made it clear that no appearance fee is enough to make her attend any place her spirit warns her to avoid.
She wrote, “Not all invitations you should go
“Some are plot to kill or destroy you, that’s why as a human being you need to pray for deceiment so God can show you who y’all are dealing with 😂 most of you why I don’t attend some of your events is deep down y’all don’t like me, but you want me in ur events cos am the life of the party.
