A notorious suspected criminal, Umoru Faruk Unusah, who vandalizes government properties has been apprehended in Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The suspect was arrested by the Idah Local Government Council Security Team and Special Hunter Squad, under the leadership of Muhammed Opaluwa.
On September 20, 2025, at approximately 1:00 AM, the Hunter Special Squad Idah Command, during routine patrol, caught the suspect in the act of stealing cable wires from a solar street light located along Ede Wards Street, Idah LGA.
The suspect, hailing from Sabongari, Idah, was found in possession of a bunch of cable wires (suspected stolen from solar light) and torch light used during the act.
The suspect was handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
