Kano Pillars technical adviser, Muhammed Babaganaru has expressed optimism that his team will escape relegation in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
The Sai Masu Gida currently occupy 19th position on the NPFL table with 25 points from 24 matches.
Kano Pillars suffered a 2-0 defeat to Rangers in their last league fixture in Enugu on Sunday.
Babaganaru blamed tactical indiscipline for his side’s loss to the Coal City club.
“Not that the boys didn’t play well in the game but we lost to tactical indiscipline,” Babaganaru stated in a post-match interview.
“We will keep on working hard because it’s not over yet. I’m very optimistic that this team will come out of this relegation struggle.”
Kano Pillars will be up against defending champions Remo Stars next this weekend.
