El-Kanemi Warriors technical adviser Kabiru Dogo has praised his players for their display in the 1–0 victory over Bayelsa United.
Sadiq Mohammed’s lone strike proved sufficient for El-Kanemi Warriors to secure the maximum points in Yenagoa.
Dogo said the victory was a reward for the players’ hard work.
“Alhamdulillah, after our game against Enyimba FC, we went back to the drawing board to assess our mistakes and make necessary adjustments,” Dogo stated after the game.
“The boys responded positively throughout the week, putting in a lot of work during training sessions.
“Special appreciation goes to our wonderful fans for their prayers and support. They stand by us in sunshine and rain, and their energy continues to motivate the team.”
El-Kanemi Warriors moved out of the relegation zone following the win.
