Abia Warriors technical adviser Imama Amapakabo has encouraged his players to replicate their impressive home form in away games.

The Umuahia-based club are yet to concede at the Umuahia Township Stadium in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

Abia Warriors, however, have conceded seven goals on their travels.

Amapakabo believes his players can improve their performance on the road with hard work.

“We have conceded double digits on the road with us being invincible at home, we should be able to translate it in our games away too,” Amapakabo told the club’s media.

“We still have work to do because we are not converting the chances we are having, if we are able to do that I think our defence will be stronger.”

Abia Warriors will be away to Ikorodu City this weekend.
