Kano Pillars are set to make a return back to the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano for their home matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

It would be recalled that the Sai Masu Gida’s were banished to Katsina following crowd violence at the ground.

Kano Pillars have managed only three wins since their banishment to Katsina.

They expressed gratitude to the supporters at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina .

Kano Pillars stated in an appreciation letter to Katsina supporters on Tuesday. “As we prepare to return to our base at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, ahead of our next home fixture, we leave Katsina with deep gratitude, fond memories and renewed respect for the football family in the state.”

Kano Pillars will take on Nasarawa United on their return to their original ground this weekend.

They are rooted at the bottom of the NPFL table with 16 points from 18 matches.
