Npfl: Kun Khalifat Confirm Blessed Iyamu’s Departure

Kun Khalifat have confirmed midfielder, Blessed Iyamu’s exit from the club, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Iyamu is expected to seal a move to Rivers United for the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

Kun Khalifat expressed gratitude for his selfless service to the club.

The promising midfielder was instrumental in the Owerri-based club’s relegation survival.

Iyamu scored once in 18 league appearances for Kun Khalifat.

“From the entire Kun Khalifat family we express our gratitude to Blessed Iyamu as his expected to begin a new chapter with Rivers United,” Kun Khalifat FC wrote after the players left at the end of last season.

“Iyamu, your dedication, talent and relentless spirit left a lasting mark on this club. You defended the badge well and gave your all to the club.

“We are proud of the growth we witnessed in you, we wish you well in your new adventure.”
