Kun Khalifat FC have cancelled the collection of gate fees for their home matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, until the end of the season.

The modest side disclosed this in a statement signed by club president Micheal Amaefula on Friday.

According to the statement, the initiative is intended to boost support for Kun Khalifat and bring the thrills of the NPFL closer to the people.

Kun Khalifat will host Plateau United in their next home match at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday, November 30.

Part of the statement reads, “Starting with our next NPFL home game against Plateau United on Sunday, November 30, the gates at the Dan Anyiam Stadium will be thrown completely free of charge. From that match onward every home game for the remainder of the season will be free access for all.”

“This initiative is aimed at boosting support for the Pride of Imo State. And bring the thrills of the NPFL closer to the people.”
