Bendel Insurance are the only team with a hundred percent record in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

Monday Odigie’s side underlined their title credentials with a commanding 3-0 win against Remo Stars at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Saturday.

Three goals from Imade Osarenkhoe, Sarki Ismael & Austin Ogunye were all the Benin Arsenals needed to keep the momentum up in the NPFL.

Defending champions, Rivers United extended their unbeaten streak after rallying back to beat Dakkada 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The Pride of Rivers have won three and drawn one from four games.

Edith Agoye’s Sunshine Stars recorded their first win of the season, courtesy of a 1-0 victory against Abia Warriors.

The Owena Whales played three consecutive draws before Sunday’s win.

Action will continue in the NPFL on Wednesday with matches across 10 different centres.
