Habib Yakub has completed a move to Nigeria Premier League side, Remo Stars, DAILY POST reports.
The left-back was declared surplus to requirement by Sunshine Stars last season.
Habib will be hoping to turn his career around with the Sky Blue Stars.
He showed a glimpse of his qualities during the 2021-22 season, where he managed five assists for the Akure Gunners under the tutelage of coach Emmanuel Deutsch.
The defender faces a tough fight for a starting role at Remo Stars next season.
He will have the opportunity of playing in the CAF Champions League.
