Ibom Angels head coach, Edwin Okon, has promised the club supporters to expect good football from his team in the 2025-26 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, season.
The Orange Ladies held Naija Ratels to a goalless draw in their opening fixture at the Bwari Stadium in Abuja on Wednesday.
Okon assured that the team won’t change their pattern notwithstanding the opponent.
“I always like good football, I’m an apostle of good football,” Okon told the club’s media.
“Expect good football from Ibom Angels, no matter their class, no matter their levels. I’m a grassroots coach, and I love grassroots football so much.”
Ibom Angels will trade tackles with Pacesetter Queens in a matchday two fixture next Wednesday.
