Heartland Queens head coach Obi Ogbala has blamed missed chances for his team’s defeat to Edo Queens.

The Owerri-based club suffered a 1-0 defeat to Edo Queens at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Wednesday.

Ogbala commended the performance of his players despite the setback.

He assured that his team remains a work in progress, and will bounce back from the defeat.

“The team is a work in progress, before now we were invisible here in Owerri as the players did their best despite the defeat,” Ogbala told Puyaka.

“We didn’t take our chances in the game but there is a lot of improvement in the team.”
