Controversial preacher, Prophet Odumeje, has taken a swipe at renowned clerics such as Pastor E.A. Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo for their silence on Nigeria’s worsening political and economic situation.

He condemned the current administration, describing it as one of the most corrupt and ineffective in the world. According to him, Nigerians particularly the youth must rise to reclaim the nation from leaders who prioritize personal gain over public service.

Drawing comparisons with Ghana, Odumeje noted that the Ghanaian cedi has gained strength against the naira, underscoring how the cost of living in Nigeria has become unbearable. He lamented that corruption and mismanagement have become so common that citizens now see them as normal.

The clergyman urged other religious leaders to speak out against government incompetence, stressing that poor leadership not only destroys the present but also erodes the values and future of generations to come.

On President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Odumeje reminded Nigerians of promises such as uninterrupted electricity and urged the government to deliver on its commitments. He emphasized that leaders must be held accountable for their actions.

Concluding his remarks, Odumeje called on fathers, elders, and community figures to take an active role in guiding the country, questioning why influential voices have chosen to remain silent in the face of Nigeria’s persistent setbacks.

Odumeje said …

“We can never keep quiet. This is our country. There must be a revolution. Amen. The worst government anywhere is Nigeria. The worst corrupted government that nothing can change it is Nigeria. See, we that Ghana is insulting Nigeria. Even the money of Ghana has value than Nigerian’s money. Ghana money before, that was insulted. We were insulting Ghana money before. But today, the money of Ghana now, I see it in the time of Goodluck. On Aba, fuel is higher price. And now, nobody to talk. Things are going costly. Nobody cares anymore. Nobody is talking because people have already seen a bad government in Nigeria as a normal life. All the youth of this country arise and take back. Let us arise and take back our country from the businessmen that call themselves leaders. People we are talking today before, Ghana must go. In Nigeria. All on back, Ghana must go. Now Ghana now, they tell us in Ghana now, Nigeria must go. When there is a bad people in leadership, their children will be feeling it. When there is a bad government, a bad father, the children will not have respect. When Tinubi is about to enter the government, they say, if I enter this government, just give me four years. If I don’t put 24 hours electricity, don’t vote for me for second term. The video, I’m with it. How many of you saw the video? Yeah, I saw it. Now, it’s no more talking about it. These are people that are supposed to be talking about the bad government at Adeboye or Oyedepo. They’re supposed to carry it strongly. Fathers. Do you know the setback in Nigeria?”

“Pastors like Adeboye and Oyedepo should be calling out the b@d government in Nigeria. Our politicians are the w0rst. Ghana is now better than us, all the youths needs to come together and take the country back” -Pastor Odumeje continues to call out Nigerian leaders. pic.twitter.com/rHMjk7Htpz
