The ongoing feud between Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and emerging artist Kraziecent has escalated into a legal matter, with the latter filing a lawsuit.
Kraziecent, whose real name is Levi Ogbogiri, claims that Odumodublvck physically assaulted him at a public event. According to reports from Daily Post, the incident occurred on December 16, 2024, while Kraziecent was “peacefully taking videos and pictures” of himself.
The singer told the court that the attack was unprovoked and caused him public embarrassment. He further alleged that Odumodublvck damaged his iPhone 15 Pro Max during the altercation, which added to both his emotional and financial distress.
Kraziecent is seeking compensation from Odumodublvck for the alleged assault, as well as for the reputational damage and humiliation he endured. His lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, informed the court that Odumodublvck’s legal team had been served but had not yet submitted a formal response.
Justice Adeyemi Ajayi, presiding over the case, set November 26 as the next hearing date. Meanwhile, Odumodublvck’s lawyer, Sheriff Bello, requested an adjournment, explaining that his team needed additional time to prepare.
The “Declan Rice” star emphasized that he remains unfazed by what he described as “industry noise,” noting that despite criticism of his rap style, he has become the most internationally featured Nigerian rapper a milestone many of his critics have not achieved.
Odumodublvck also pointed out that his ability to sing his own hooks, produce hit songs, and secure more shows than fellow rappers has fueled resentment. He added that he isn’t concerned about the negativity, instead prioritizing his fans and continuing to advance his career.
He stated, “In Nigeria, they say my rap is not good, but I’m the most featured rapper by international artists.”
