American rapper Offset has reportedly turned down a $10 million divorce settlement offer from his estranged wife, Cardi B, insisting on receiving half of their combined assets.
Reports said Offset maintains that he contributed significantly to Cardi B’s rise to fame and deserves an equal share of the wealth accumulated during their marriage.
The couple, who got married in 2017, share three children. Their relationship has been marked by several public disagreements and reconciliations, but recent developments indicate that the separation is final.
The rejection of the settlement offer is said to have further strained communication between both parties.

Cardi B’s representatives are said to be preparing to present evidence showing that her financial success predates and operates independently of Offset.
