The youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has expressed displeasure over the continued detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of State Security (DSS).

The Igbo organisation raised concerns over the Federal Government’s alleged disobedience of Court orders, bordering on the release and freedom of the IPOB leader from detention.

It further called on the Federal Government to address the health challenge facing Nnamdi Kanu, appealing the IPOB leader should be allowed to go for medical treatment urgently.

The group stated this in a statement after its National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting on Wednesday by the National Publicity Secretary, Chika Adiele.

The meeting at the National Secretariat of Ohanaeze, 7 Park Avenue Enugu, was chaired by the Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Worldwide led by Mazi Livinus Obasi Onu Esq.
