Former French forward Olivier Giroud has reflected on his time at Arsenal which includes the memories he created at the club while he was at the Emirates.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea striker joined Lille this summer after one season at Los Angeles FC. And he has scored three goals in his first eight games back in Ligue 1 for 13 years. The 39-year-old is looking at the possibility of signing a new contract with the MLS club side.
He said,
“It could be one year plus another, but it could just be one, too. You can’t have regrets. You have to live in the moment and be ready to stop it all at some point. But 40 is a number that I am aware of. But it will be a group decision, with my wife and my family. It is about being reasonable. If I think that I can bring something and if the club are also satisfied with me, we will sit around a table and we’ll see.”
