A nurse identified as Hadiza Musa has been k!lled by suspected “one-chance” robbers in Zaria, Kaduna State.
It was gathered that the criminals attacked and threw her out of a moving commercial tricycle.
Sources said that the tragic incident occurred on Monday evening, October 20, 2025 when the woman boarded the tricycle, unaware that the occupants were part of a criminal gang that specialises in robbing unsuspecting passengers.
Hadiza was said to have sustained severe injuries after being thrown out of the moving vehicle and was later confirmed d3ad.
She was a staff member of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, where she was also buried according to Islamic rites.
Colleagues and friends described the deceased as a dedicated and compassionate health worker.
“May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings,” one of her colleagues said.
The police are yet to issue an official statement on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
