Tyler Hilton has revealed that he and Megan Park have ended their marriage.
In a statement shared on social media on Friday, January 16, the One Tree Hill actor said there had been “speculation online” about the status of their relationship and that he felt it “warranted clarity.”
“A life update: I’ve never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I’ve seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity. Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage,” he wrote. Hilton did not disclose when the separation occurred and offered no details about what prompted it.
“We continue to make the kids and coparenting the priority. Thanks for continuing to respect our privacy,” he added.
Hilton and Park first met in 2007 while filming Charlie Bartlett and married in October 2015. They share two children, a daughter, Winnie, and a son, Benny. Park has not made a public statement regarding the separation.
