Queen Ashley, the fourth wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is celebrating their son, Prince Ademakinwa, as he turns one today.
Sharing a clip of her labour delivery, she noted how God made his arrival a smooth and beautiful journey from the first scan to the moment she carried him in his arms. She stated that her son is a testimony of God and she is forever grateful.
Penning a note to the Ooni, she appreciated him for his love and support throughout her pregnancy and even at the theatre. She revealed that her husband is a caring father and a devoted husband, and she is truly blessed to have a great father and an amazing husband.
Queen Ashley prayed that her son would continue to grow in wisdom, strength, and grace and that his life would shine brighter each year.

Kemi Filani reported in September, last year, that the couple had announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. Queen Ashley noted how, for over a decade, the enemies tried in her relationship with the monarch, but God made them victorious. Recall that the Ooni of Ife married Princess Ashley as his fourth wife in October 2023. This was a dream come true for Princess Ashley, who had been a long-time concubine of the monarch. The royal wedding was held in Ile Ife, with many dignitaries in attendance.
