Media personality Toke Makinwa has addressed rumors of her engagement to Faruk after photos of them together at her 40th birthday celebration sparked online speculation. In a statement, Makinwa clarified that Faruk is not her fiancé but a close friend who has supported her during difficult times.

“Faruk was there for me at my lowest, when I had nothing,” Toke said, emphasizing their bond as brotherly and platonic. She dismissed any romantic ties between them, putting an end to the engagement rumors.

After debunking the rumors, the duo shared a lighthearted moment on the dance floor. In the midst of their celebration, Toke and Faruk shook hands and continued dancing, a playful gesture that highlighted their friendship.

The viral photos and their special connection sparked interest, but Toke’s clarification has set the record straight.
