Former Fenerbahçe player, Serhat Akın has named Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen as the greatest striker ever to grace the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen enjoyed a stellar campaign last season while on loan at Galatasaray.

The Nigerian international recorded 45 goal involvements in 41 appearances across competitions for Galatasaray.

The 26-year-old, who has been impressive for Galatasaray so far this season, led his team to win the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

“Osimhen is an extraordinary man. I think he’s the greatest centre-forward to ever grace this league,” Akın said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“Icardi is a pure striker, he did amazing things for two years and became the top scorer.

“Icardi is a completely different player. If I were a manager, I’d be incredibly happy to have Osimhen on my team. He’s my dream centre-forward.”
