Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, has reacted to reports claiming the young lady who accused him of being a rapist and abuser of minors has been sentenced to six years’ imprisonment.

Newsunplug reported last year, Paul had vowed to take legal action against a lady for making a defamatory statement about him and his previous marriage. The lady, in a tweet, had claimed that the singer had cheated on his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, with his housemaid, and Paul had vowed to use her as a scapegoat.

On Thursday, March 5, social media was agog with reports that the lady had been sentenced after she was arraigned for falsely accusing the singer of rape.

Addressing the reports in his Instagram story, Paul stated they were false.

“Fake news”, he wrote.
