Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, recently opened up about the support he received from Nollywood actress Funke Akindele during a difficult period in his life.
Earlier last year, Peller went through a rough time following an accident and emotional struggles connected to his relationship with his partner, Jarvis. The incident involved him damaging his new jeep and being arrested after allegedly attempting to harm himself, which he had shared online.
Peller revealed that Akindele stood by him following his arrest, providing support when he needed it the most. He expressed gratitude for her kindness, highlighting that she consistently shows love and care for others, a quality evident in her actions.
During a recent event, as Peller spoke about her help, Akindele playfully tried to stop him from revealing the details. Peller, however, laughed it off and continued, admitting he had not been in a good state. Akindele responded with prayers, encouraging words, a hug, and complimented him on looking well.
This gesture is consistent with Akindele’s history of helping people quietly. A few months ago, she gifted an iPhone to Iyabo Ojo at an event, fulfilling a promise they had joked about earlier. Likewise, skit maker and actor Kamo previously shared how Akindele supported him and his wife during their wedding and later in their journey to start a family.
