The funeral rite for late Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of late former President of Nigeria,cMusa Yar’Adua, held today, September 3, in Katsina State.

This comes one day after she died at the age of 102.

Hajiya Dada, who was also the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, was buried at the Danmarna Cemetery on Tuesday in line with Islamic rite after the funeral prayers at the Katsina Township stadium, Yar’adua quarters, Katsina State.

Several politicians and dignitaries are currently in Katsina to pay their last respects.
