Here are the players confirmed to be in camp for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as AFCON 2025 preparations commence in full gear.

A total of 13 players have so far reported to the Super Eagles’ camp as Nigeria begins preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The camp officially opened on Sunday at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo, with all coaches and backroom staff already present ahead of the tournament.

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was the first player to arrive, landing shortly after 2:00 a.m. local time. The shot-stopper, who is part of head coach Eric Chelle’s 28-man squad, returns to the national team after more than a year away. He was followed by Stanley Nwabali, while Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro later checked in to take the number in camp to four.

The arrival of Amas Obasogie, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Igho Ogbu, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Tochukwu Nnadi later increased the total to ten players.

More players are expected to join the camp in the coming hours as the Super Eagles continue their build-up to the continental competition.

Players in camp: Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Amas Obasogie, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Igho Ogbu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Tochukwu Nnadi, Frank Onyeka, Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi.
