The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a suspect, Jonathan Marcus, for the gruesome murder of an elderly couple, Adebola Ezekiel, 80, and his wife, Abiodun Ezekiel, 79.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this at a press conference on Friday, April 19, 2024, said the suspect was the couple’s former driver.
The couple was killed in their residence at Apo Legislative Quarters in Abuja on April 1, 2024.
Igwe said the police began an investigation immediately and were able to arrest the suspect.
According to him, police detectives trailed the suspect and arrested him in his hideout in Obajana, Kogi.
