The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old woman, Omotoyosi Abadajo for the m8rder of a man identified as Daniel in THE Ikotun area of the state.
Addressing journalists at the command headquarters on Monday, April 7, 2025, the spokesperson of the command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said that Daniel,47, was allegedly st@bbed to d3ath by the suspect during an altercation in the Abaranje area of Ikotun.
He said the incident occurred on Saturday, March 30, 2025, at about 2 pm and was reported to the Ikotun Police Division shortly after.
Hundeyin said the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a broken bottle during a heated exchange.
“Daniel was rushed to the hospital following the attack but was confirmed dead on arrival.
“The suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody, while the deceased’s body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital morgue in Yaba for autopsy,” he added.
