President Buhari sends names of 42 Ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation

President Buhari has sent a letter to the Nigerian Senate requesting the screening and confirmation of 41 non-career and one career ambassadorial nominees for appointment.

One of the nominees Suleiman Sani from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was nominated as a career ambassador while the remaining 41 were nominated as non-career ambassadors.

The President’s letter of request was read on the floor at plenary by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan today Wednesday, July 1.
