President Tinubu visits late President Buhari’s widow Aisha in Kaduna

President Bola Tinubu is currently in Kaduna State on a one-day visit.

Shortly after he landed, the President visited the widow of late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, at the family house.

He was received by the former first lady and her family member. The President in his brief speech pledged to continue her husband’s legacy.

‘’”The loss of flesh is not the loss of spirit, the spirit that he left with us is the spirit of hope, dedication,patriotism and honesty…we assure you and the family that we will continue the legacy of our leader and the spirit that he left behind will not be stained”he said

During his visit in Kaduna, President Tinubu is scheduled to attend the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Idris. Nasirudeen is the son of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, a former governor of Zamfara State and the current representative of Zamfara West in the National Assembly.
