Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing renewed fallout over his ties to s3x offender Jeffrey Epstein, with reports suggesting his daughter Princess Eugenie has cut off contact after he refused to apologise to Epstein’s victims. A source close to the royals told the paper: “There is no contact at all, nothing. It’s Brooklyn Beckham level, she has completely cut him off.” The source added: “Beatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family. They aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn’t trying to walk that line. She’s not speaking to him.”
Princess Beatrice, however, reportedly had Andrew attend her daughter’s christening last month, signalling a more cautious approach amid the ongoing controversy.
The reported family estrangement comes as Andrew faces continued anger over his association with Epstein and allegations involving Virginia Giuffre, which he has repeatedly denied. His exile from public royal duties remains intact, and he is expected to vacate the Royal Lodge, where he has lived for 22 years. Moving vans were seen outside the property last week, and the former Duke of York is due to relocate temporarily to accommodation on the King’s Sandringham estate until renovations at his anticipated new home, Marsh Farm, are completed by Easter.
Andrew was removed from royal duties and banished from the Royal Family following his friendship with Epstein, who was convicted of s3x offences, and over allegations that Andrew s3xually assaulted Giuffre when she was a teenager. He has denied the allegations.
Reports suggest Andrew had hoped to reside at Wood Farm on Sandringham, a five-bed cottage near the estate’s stables and pheasant shooting grounds, but concerns were raised that he would be living “too close” to the rest of the family. In recent days, he has been seen driving through Windsor and speaking briefly to dog walkers after his vehicle was momentarily blocked. Photographs showed him smiling behind the wheel of his SUV.
