Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Grammy nominee Davido, has expressed excitement following her husband’s Grammy nomination.
Newsunplug reported on Friday night that the nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards were released. The event, scheduled for February 2026, featured numerous Nigerian artists on the list. Davido, Omah Lay, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Wizkid scored nominations.
Davido was nominated for Best African Music Performance for his hit song, With You featuring Omah Lay. Also in the category are Burna Boy with his song “Love” and Ayra Starr ft. Wizkid with the song “Gimme Dat.”
Reacting to the news, Chioma, via her Instagram story, reposted Davido’s post celebrating his nomination with grateful and love emojis.
