Reality TV star, Masika Kalysha is facing intense scrutiny and online backlash after videos and photos went viral showing her getting intimate with rapper HoodTrophy Bino, who is also known as Chrisean Rock’s ex.
The controversy stems not only from the reported 15-year age difference between the 40-year-old star and the 25-year-old rapper, but primarily because the clips surfaced less than a month after the tragic death of her estranged husband, Jamar Champ, at age 38.
The now-viral clips show the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood alum kissing, partying, and vacationing with her rumored new beau, days after she was pictured visibly shattered and grieving at Champ’s funeral.
Online users were quick to criticize the television personality, with many accusing her of showing little remorse for her late husband and questioning the sincerity of her public grief.

In the face of the criticism, Kalysha defended her actions during an Instagram Live session on Sunday, November 3O. While the new couple denied claims that the relationship was merely a PR stunt, the Love & Hip Hop alum directly addressed fans who criticized her for moving on so fast and for her social media posts regarding the funeral.
Kalysha clapped back at her critics by explaining that she and Jamar Champ had been separated for years before his passing. She emphasized that a new relationship does not invalidate her grief, stating how much she cried and will continue to cry for Jamar, the father of her three-year-old daughter, Amari Hermes.
“Y’all better PRAY you have a wife that’s going to take care of EVERYTHING FOR YOU even if you’ve BEEN separated with a divorce pending!” she expressed on social media as a potential indirect response to critics. “Out of respect for my late husband I won’t speak on THAT BUT YOU WEIRD A** CLOUT CHASING NAS KNOW!!!
