Nigerian singer, Rema’s debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ has ended its record as the longest-charting African album on Billboard World Albums Chart, hitting a milestone of 170 weeks on the chart.

Rave Roses broke the record, which was preciously held by Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ (164 weeks) last year.

Other longest-charting African projects on chart include Tems’ ‘Born In The Wild’ (79 weeks), Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ (63 weeks), and the legendary Fela’s ‘The Best Of The Black President’ (45 weeks).

Meanwhile, Rema earned his second Billboard Hot 100 chart entry this week with ‘Secondhand’ with Don Toliver debuting at 29.

His compatriot, Tems also debuted on new song ‘What You Need’ on Hot 100 this week, bringing her total to seven, a joint African record with Burna Boy and South African group Seether.
