Silverbird TV presenter has reacted to Yhemolee’s comments about false r@pe accusations, saying claims that such allegations always destroy men’s lives are not entirely accurate.
Speaking during a discussion, she argued that several high-profile cases show that accused men often retain their careers and influence.
The presenter referenced the past r@pe allegation involving singer D’banj, noting that despite the controversy, he still maintains an active career today.
She also mentioned the case where photographer and celebrity wife Busola Dakolo accused COZA founder Biodun Fatoyinbo, pointing out that his church continues to operate with a large following.
According to her, she believes comparing the punishment for r@pe and false accusations is not logical because of the different levels of physical, psychological, and emotional impact involved.
She added that while false accusers should face consequences, equating their punishment to that of convicted r@pists is, in her view, inappropriate.
She also questioned why Yhemolee did not publicly speak against r@pe when the recent allegation first surfaced.
