Ruben Amorim has reacted to the recent criticism made by the former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo about the state of the club at this moment.

Ruben Amorim spoke in his pre-match press conference, where he agreed with Cristiano Ronaldo’s statement that Manchester United has struggled in the past. According to him, there is a lot that could be done at the club despite its past situation.

He said, “He knows he has a huge impact on everything he says. We know as a club we made a lot of mistakes in the past. We are trying to change that. Let’s not focus on what happened. We need to focus on the future. Let’s focus on the way we are doing things. We are changing a lot of things, the structure, the way we want the players to behave, we are improving. Let’s forget a little bit about the past.”

What did Ronaldo say about Manchester United under Ruben Amorim?

The former Man United player said, “Rúben Amorim is doing his best. What should he do? Miracles? Miracles are not possible, miracles are only in Fatima. The players are good, but some of them don’t have in their mind what Manchester United is.”

Manchester United supporters will be hoping things get better at the club under Amorim in the 2024/25 season.
