Veteran actor Saidi Balogun has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late daughter, Zeenat Jolade Balogun, on the first anniversary of her passing.
It would be recalled that in October last year, reports emerged that the veteran Yoruba actor had lost his first daughter, Zeenat.
At the time, Saidi shared an emotional post on Instagram featuring a candlelit surrounded by flowers, along with heartbroken and dove emojis. In another post, he uploaded the family’s statement describing Zeenat as a warrior who lived fully, embodying joy, acceptance, and resilience. She was also remembered as a firm believer in the saying, “never give up.”
Commemorating her one-year remembrance, the actor took to his Instagram page to share a clip of his late daughter alongside a touching message.
“One year strong. NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN! Rest on my angel. Zeenat Jolade Balogun,” he wrote.
The emotional post has drawn a wave of condolence messages from colleagues, fans, and followers, who joined the actor in remembering his beloved daughter.
