Nasiru Salihu has signed a one-year contract with Azerbaijani club, Gabala FC, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Salihu joined Gabala from Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side El-Kanemi Warriors.
The youngster had a break through campaign during El-Kanemi Warriors’ President Federation Cup triumph in 2024.
Salihu was named the Most Valuable Player during the competition.
The 18-year-old midfielder netted five goals in 16 appearances for El-Kanemi Warriors last season.
Salihu represented Nigeria’s Flying Eagles team at the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.
