Atalanta CEO, Luca Percassi has said the club will be willing to welcome Ademola Lookman back once he changes his attitude.
La Dea’s season has so far been dominated by the transfer saga involving them, and Lookman.
The Nigeria international pushed to force a move to Atalanta’s Serie A rivals Inter Milan in the summer, going AWOL from training for two weeks.
The 27-year-old is yet to be fully reintegrated back to the squad as he has reportedly not shown the right attitude in training.
Head coach, Ivan Juric recently said he won’t beg the winger to play for the club.
Percassi declared Lookman must show commitment he is willing to play for the club again.
“You cannot go back and change the past, so we will focus on the present and future. We all know how good Ademola is, but also that in order to play for Atalanta, you must be 100 per cent focused,” Percassi told Sky Sport Italia.
“When he feels ready to do that, we are waiting for him with open arms.”
