Serie A club Lazio have confirmed Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will be sidelined for a number of weeks due to injury.
The Biancocelesti announced Dele-Bashiru sustained a lesion to the femoral bicep in his right leg during their league clash with AS Roma on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was forced off early in the game.
Lazio also revealed that the Nigeria international has started his rehabilitation process.
Dele-Bashiru has made four league appearances for the Rome-based club this season.
He is doubtful for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin Republic next month.
