Ademola Lookman is in buoyant mood after helping Atalanta beat Fiorentina 3-2 at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.

Lookman scored the winning goal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side on his first Serie A start of the season.

The pacy winger also grabbed an assist in the thrilling encounter.

The 26-year-old shared his thoughts with DAZN after the game.

“Happy to be back in front of our fans and play football here. Enjoying it, we’ve got a strong squad this season and happy to play, so we go on.”

La Dea will be competing in the UEFA Champions League this season after a remarkable last term.

The Bergamo will confront Arsenal in their opening fixture in midweek.

The Nigeria international expressed his excitement ahead of the upcoming clash.

“We’re very pleased to be in the Champions League this season,” the Ballon d’Or nominee noted.

“We deserved that and have to demonstrate it. We want to show the same drive and mentality that we had today to come back from behind.”
