Catania managing director, Peter Lo Monaco believes Victor Osimhen is the best striker to have played for Serie A club, Napoli.

Osimhen is rated as one of the best strikers in the world at the moment following his impressive displays for Napoli.

The Nigeria international has scored 17 goals in 18 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.

The likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Edison Cavani were popular figures during their stint at the Diego Armando Maradona.

But Lo Monaco insists Osimhen have better qualities than the duo.

“The strongest striker of the De Laurentiis era is Osimhen,” Lo Monaco told Napoli Magazine.

“Osimhen can still give a lot. After Osimhen, the next two are Higuain and Cavani. We are talking about three immense players. Osimhen can still reach top levels like Haaland.” he added.
