The Lega Serie A has hailed Victor Osimhen’s contribution to Napoli’s Scudetto success last season.
The Partenopei won the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years with Osimhen contributing 26 goals and four assists in 32 league appearances.
The 24-year-old also finished the season as a top scorer.
The Nigerian was named the best striker and was voted in the Team of the Season.
“The season’s over but his legacy as capocannoniere will endure for eternity.
Victor Osimhen: The 2022/23 top scorer with 26 goals!,” the league body wrote on their Twitter handle.
