Victor Osimhen has thanked his friends, family and supporters after clinching the Italia Footballers’ Association (AIC) Player of the Year award.
Osimhen was named winner of the award on Monday night.
The 24-year-old took to the social media to celebrate the personal award.
“Thank you @GranGalaAIC for the recognition and awards, thank you my family, friends and supporters for ur votes and unending support. God is the Greatest,” he wrote in his X handle.
Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 league outings to propel Napoli to their first Scudetto since 1990.
The 24-year-old has registered six goals this season.
