Popular Nigerian comedian I Go Save has reacted to the recent announcement about the rescue of abducted citizens.
Over the weekend, President Bola Tinubu revealed that the 38 church members kidnapped during a bandit attack in Kwara State had been successfully freed. He also confirmed that 51 students taken from a Catholic school in Niger State were rescued.
Following the announcement, I Go Save sparked conversations online by questioning the authenticity of the operations. He described the reported rescues as “false flag rescue operations,” suggesting they appeared suspicious.
According to him, the timing seemed unusual, especially after the United States disclosed intentions to intervene in Nigeria to prevent what it described as Christian genocide. He implied that rescue missions had suddenly become surprisingly effortless.
